Xavier Sander's Outsiders Comic Book

For my project I chose to do a comic book of chapter 4 of The Outsiders. It is the section of the book where Ponyboy and Johnny get cornered by Socs who take their grudge too far, forcing Johnny to make a hard decision which is whether or not to take somebody's life to save another. This is one of the hardest projects I've ever done because I procrastinated on my work and had to stay up all night, a couple of nights to finish it. The first step was to find sketches of The Outsiders characters that other artists had already drawn to get ideas on how I was going to draw my comic characters. I came across this Chibi version of Two-Bit and I thought it was cool. Chibi is an art style where characters are drawn with big heads and little bodies and so I went with it. Next was searching for comic book templates to draw on. I found a website that was very helpful and had everything I needed. I printed out the pages and I was ready to start sketching. I sketched on a blank piece of paper to map out the sequence of events I was going to draw because I didn't want to have a lot of erase marks on my final comic book. When I had an idea of how to draw my characters, I began drawing on the templates. I had to create speech bubbles and put words within them to make the book whole. At one point I decided to redo my drawings because I thought my drawings could be better and as an artist I'm very particular. But deciding to do this cost me more time than what I had since I got started late in the beginning. After that I had to ink the pictures in pen, which actually took less time than I expected. Next was coloring my illustrations which required the most attention to detail and neatness. I had to be very careful not to color outside the lines and once that task was done my comic book was almost complete. Then I taped my pages onto colored construction paper and placed them in sheet protectors that went into a binder. My project was at last complete. The most enjoyable part of my project was looking at how other artists visualized the characters of The Outsiders. It was really interesting. Juliana & Lauren The Movie

This is a short film about Ponyboy that talks about how dangerous it is to be wondering around the streets at night especially when your in a gang. Ponyboy gets kidnapped by a stranger that gave him another concussion while he was out he saw his parents that had dies he also saw Johnny and Bob. He finally gets reunited with his brothers. we added bloopers at the end as a bonus. We hope you enjoy.

A week in the life of me. by Kai smith

My rap is called a week in the life of me because it talks about all the stuff that happens to Ponyboy in 1 week. In this rap Ponyboy talks about his life and how things are going for him and the greasers. The reason the rap doesn't talk about Ponyboy going to court is because he is "IN" court talking about hat happened and how it all started. I hope you like it.

I have made raps and songs before but never like this. This is more of a slow old school rap.

For go beyond i helped Lauren, Juliana, and Renae on there project by adding the slow motion, and i helped Mimi and Morgan on there project by helping them upload the movie to there thumb drive.

Cora and Inna's Outsiders Project

This was a lot of fun to make. We did the work together and helped each other out when we were stuck.

When we started to put together the script and film we gave each other advise. We also laughed at each other...................a lot.

Daragh and Carlos L outsiders card game

Are project is matching cards. The whole point of the card game is to match the vocab word with the definition of the word. Or a outsider character with what they look like.At first we were getting some things done.But than we were getting nothing done than we pulled are selves together and begin finishing it.Before we started we thought it would be boring but than when we started the card game it was fun.

Avi Goomishian-Outsiders Interview/Commercial

This was a really fun commercial and interview to make. I really appreciated all my help. This interview shows the knowledge of the book because if somebody didn't read the book and watched the interview they would know all about the book.
